If you are injured at work or have a work related illness you should see your regular doctor as soon as possible. Your Doctor is here to help you through the work cover process including providing you with up to date medical care, medical reports and Case conferences with work cover and your employer in order to help you recover and return to work as soon as you are fit to do so.

Please inform the receptionist if your consult is WorkCover related as not all doctors handle WorkCover cases.

If you are travelling overseas it is advisable to see your doctor at least 6-8 weeks prior to your departure date. Your doctor can advise you about any vaccinations you may require. These vaccinations depend on a number of factors including your health, immunisation history, where you are travelling and the length of time you are travelling for.

Your doctor can also provide you with a current and up to date list of mediations you are currently taking to keep on you while travelling.

Playing Sports can often result in unfortunate injuries. Our doctors can provide diagnosis and treatment for a wide range of sporting injuries and if necessary refer you to a specialist who is trained in your particular needs.

Preventative medicine focuses on your individual health. The objective of Preventative health is to help you maintain your health and to prevent disease.

We have partnered Australian Clinical Labs to cater the need of Pathology Services for our Patients.

Pathology Services are available from 8.30 am to 12.30 pm Weekdays.

We can deal with a wide range of minor surgical procedures including: Skin tags, Moles, Warts, sebaceous cysts, drainage of cysts, basal cell carcinomas, Squamous carcinomas, steroid injections for painful joints, trigger finger, treatment of ingrown toe / finger nails etc. If you have any concerns or would like a skin check please book and appointment with your doctor.

A Lung function tests also known as Spirometry is one of the most common test to see how well your lungs are functioning. This test shows how well you are breathing in and out. Breathing can be affected by a number of lung diseases. We have a spirometry machine on the premises if you are required to undergo this test.

We can provide Medical assessments for Insurance medicals and employment medicals.
These can include but are not limited to: Clinical and Physical examinations, drug and alcohol testing and vision testing.
Insurance reports and Employments are not covered by Medicare and are required to be paid in full on the day.

We provide a number of health assessments for a wide range of reasons these include:

  • A health assessment for people aged 45-49 years who are at risk of developing chronic disease
  • A type 2 diabetes risk evaluation for people aged 40-49 years with a high risk of developing type 2 diabetes as determined by the Australian Type 2 Diabetes Risk Assessment Tool
  • A health assessment for people aged 75 years and older
  • A comprehensive medical assessment for permanent residents of residential aged care facilities
  • A health assessment for people with an intellectual disability
  • A health assessment for refugees and other humanitarian entrants

We can provide treatment for fractures including assessment, referrals for xrays, plaster or referral to hospital / specialist if required.

Please advise receptionist when making appointment if you have a possible fracture.

We have an Ecg (electrocardiograph) machine on site for routine checks, if you have Hypertension, Diabetes or a family history of heart issues please see your doctor for a routine ECG.
If you think you are having a heart attack please go straight to hospital.

We are able to offer a range of tests, referrals and management plans to help diagnose and manage a wide range of chronic and short term illnesses. Please speak to your doctor for further details.

Immunisations are highly recommended for children from an early age. These help to protect your child from most serious childhood illnesses and diseases. These are provided free of charge. Please let the receptionist know you are booking for immunisations and how old your child is on booking your appointment.
