Chris studied Medicine and German at University of Adelaide. He trained as a GP in Australia and the UK, and in Logotherapy and Existential Analysis in Austria, later becoming one of the Foundation Fellows when the Royal Australasian College of Physicians created the Chapter of Addiction Medicine.
He is a specialist in Addiction Medicine and is also recognised by Medicare for Focussed Psychological Strategies and is a Visiting Fellow, Discipline of Psychiatry, University of Adelaide.
He also works as a Senior Consultant, Central Adelaide Local Health Network Hospital Avoidance & Supported Discharge Service, Shop 5, 221 Main North Road, Sefton Park. He does not offer methadone or Suboxone at Modbury and does not manage patients in hospital.
He has presented at conferences locally and internationally and published articles in professional journals, two book chapters and has co-edited the English translation of a book originally written in German (Living your own life – Existential Analysis in action).
Fluent in German and moderately fluent in Italian.
