The Practice
Paragon Medical Centre is one of four medical practices within the Solitaire Medical Group that proudly services rural and suburban South Australia. We remain proudly doctor-owned and operated. After outgrowing our original practice from Modbury North Medical Centre, we have moved to “The Paragon” 97-105 Smart Road, Modbury with a new name of “Paragon Medical + Dental Centre”. This iconic Centre is conveniently located in the heart of Modbury, just a few meters from Modbury Hospital and across the road from Modbury Interchange.
Paragon Medical + Dental Clinic is a state-of-the-art multi-specialty clinic that has most of the medical facilities under one roof.
Some services are Pharmacy, Specialists, General Practice, Dental surgeon, Pathology, All Allied Health Services, Café, Heated Pool.
Specialists include Urologist, Paediatrician, Cardiologist, Wakefield Eye Clinic, Foot and ankle surgeon, Plastic Surgeon, Drug and alcohol specialists and General Physician.
Our Allied health services are Physiotherapists, Hydrotherapy, Audiology, dietitians, Psychologist, Diabetic Educator, etc.
We now have seventeen General Practitioners working at the Practice, including training GPs. Many of our GPs have postgraduate training and experience. Some Doctors have a particular interest in Orthopaedics, antenatal and perinatal care, Dermatology, Mental health and Aboriginal health.
We are proud to mention that we specialise in special surgical procedures, especially skin cancer surgery, Hand surgery- carpal tunnel release, trigger finger release, Contracture release, Toenail Surgery, Removal of Lumps and Bumps. We deal with most of the emergencies at Paragon with minimal waiting time to help our overworked hospital emergencies.
Our highly skilled Primary Health Care Nurses and dedicated administrative team will greet you with a smile even in the most stressful situations.
In addition to the more traditional approach to illness care, we promote better health by focusing on illness prevention and improving physical and emotional well-being. We support patients to learn about their health and healthy living.
We pride ourselves on having the latest technology and equipment to assist in your medical care. For your convenience, after-hours appointments are available at Paragon Medical Centre. We open from 8.00 am to 11.00 pm on weekdays, and 9.00 am to 5.00 pm at weekends and all Public Holidays. Onsite parking is available, and the practice is entirely wheelchair accessible.
We are a fully accredited practise by AGPAL, per the standards of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP).

Teaching
We have been an accredited training practice for GP Registrars since 2017. These Registrars are qualified doctors who have completed their hospital-based postgraduate years and are training in General Practice. We work closely with GPEx, the GP training provider for South Australia.
Sustainability
We accept responsibility for a cleaner environment and hence are moving towards clean and renewable energy. Solar panels have been installed in our practice to reduce the number of carbon footprints.
