Louis grew up in Nigeria and went on to complete his MBBS at University College Hospital, Ibadan, and was admitted to the West African College of Surgeons in 2005. After obtaining Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, he moved to Singapore to train as a Cardio Thoracic and Vascular Surgery Registrar at the National University Hospital and National Heart Centre. He moved to Australia in 2011, and trained at Sir Charles Gardiner Hospital, Perth. In 2019 he moved to Adelaide with his family, and has been completing his internship and registrar training at Royal Adelaide and Queen Elizabeth Hospitals, having decided to pursue a change of career pathway as a General Practitioner. We welcome Louis to our team at Moana Medical Centre, as he continues with us on his General Practitioner Registration journey. Louis has a particular interest in cardiac health and enjoys all aspects of general practice medicine. Louis has three teenage children, loves music and enjoys good food with family and friends. He loves a game of tennis and is a keen athletics fan. He also enjoys watching the 36ers basketball team play.
